In RuPaul’s drag race, competitors are evaluated on their catwalk appearance and capacity to exhibit the essential traits of a great drag queen: appeal, originality, courage, and skill.
One queen is evicted at the end of every episode until only three are left. The top three competitors then engage in a grand finale, with the winner earning the title of “America’s Next Drag Superstar” and a financial award.
RuPaul Drag Race is being developed in numerous nations worldwide due to the show’s growing popularity and status as a cultural icon.
The 14th season of this show is over, and the 15th season has started. The 15th season of RuPaul’s drag race also runs in the same way. And it is also over 11 episodes. Let’s talk about the 12th episode of it!
The Musical challenge is this week’s maxi-challenge, which RuPaul reveals at the beginning of the 12th episode. A production of Wigloose: The Musical will include the queens performing songs and dances and showcasing their talents.
Drag has been made illegal while listening to songs from Wigloose. Heaven Bacon, Mama Bacon, Preacher Teacher, Christian and Tuck, and carl all are their roles. Anetra decides to play mama Bacon, Mistress picks Preacher Teacher, and Sasha thinks of playing Carl.
It is a moment for the queen to see Miguel Zarate teach them some choreography. Loosey is a skilled dancer who is quick to pick up choreography.
Although Anetra can dance, she spends too much time thinking about the choreography. While Salina has musical theatre training, she is unhappy to hear that her character is a farm kid, even though she knows she is brilliant at it.
The main challenge is now ready to go!
Ru enters the runway while serving sensual space realism from the 1960s and the Fifth Element. This week’s panelists are Ross Mathews, Orville Peck, and Michelle Visage.
The metaphorical curtain opens for Wigloose: The Rusical’s world debut! Mistress commands the stage with their performance, and Loosey performs spectacularly.
Loosey, Salina, and Luxx serve a wonderful “Let’s Hear It For The Boy”-like the song with ’80s sissy spirit. With a full squad performance that begins on an 80s-inspired Kenny Loggins ride, Loosey maintains the rhythm.
The queens are dressed as they prepare their roles for a Drag race in the major finale. It starts with Sinatra’s performance.
When they ramp up the closing performance, Sasha has her single as Carl, and she takes that track up. When the queens begin the upbeat title song, similar to “You Can’t Stop The Rhythm” from Hairspray The Musical, every doll on stage brings everything.
In all seriousness, this might be the greatest Rusical in Drag Race history.
The runway is about to open. Loosey is A gorgeous swamp queen lewk from the 1950s. Anetra is shooting lasers out of her gloves while displaying her body-ody-ody. Mistress looks gorgeous in her vintage Balenciaga-inspired yellow gown, and her gloves are covered in jewels.
Luxx is a brilliant drag artist who wears casts as gloves in her emo Hot Topic act. I live. It tells a narrative.
And the maxi challenge winner is Anetra. She has now earned several $15,000 in cash in the contest.
In the 12th episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” Loosey LaDuca and Salina EsTitties lip-synced to Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” at the bottom.
And Aura Mayari, a Filipino drag performer, was evicted from this show as the position with one victory for the girl group challenge.
This episode’s winner is Anetra. And she has now won two maxi challenges. And the next episode of RuPaul’s drag race season 15 will be released on 24 March 2023 is “Teacher Makeovers”. These queens transform dedicated teachers into drag versions of themselves from kindergarten through high school. And the guest of this episode is Hayley Kiyoko.
