American Idol, a reality singing competition, debuted its twenty-first season just on the ABC television network on February 19, 2023. American Idol’s 21st season premiered on Sunday, February 19 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
The judges for the next season will be the same trio that served on American Idol when it returned to ABC in 2018. Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie, three well-known judges, will return to the competition to provide their criticisms and laudations of these prospective singing stars. They will be the show’s judges for the sixth consecutive year.
Ryan Seacrest, the show’s award-winning host, will also be back to present these new singers to you all and occasionally provide emotional support because some of them may become disappointed if they don’t cut.
On August 3, “Idol across America” returned with its virtual system. The major for talent, and auditions for Season 21 began. The judge’s audition rounds were held in Las Vegas, Nashville, and New Orleans, and it was broadcast live in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
Each of the three in-person screening locations distributed a golden ticket that qualified the holder to forego Hollywood Week opening day. Fans this year chose a unique America Platinum Ticket. Elijah McCormick became victorious.
Several additional contestants that will audition for American Idol season 21 will also be included in the series in addition to them.

Tyson Venegas, 17, from Vancouver, Canada, grew up with his parents’ musical inspirations. As a young child, he had trouble speaking, so music therapy helped him expand his vocabulary. He gave a piano performance of Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind.” The judges gave him a platinum ticket as a special prize because of his buttery vocals. He can skip the opening round of Hollywood Week thanks to this special ticket.
