Tom Ball, a former contestant on Britain’s Got Talent, created history on America’s Got Talent: All-Stars (AGT: All-Stars).
Tom Ball, a vocalist who had previously competed on the British franchise, received the Golden Buzzer from the judges and Crews. The Golden Buzzer for the evening Tom Ball, a singer, One of the most poignant moments of the evening.
The host of the program and the judges Howie Mandel, Simon Cowell, and, Heidi Klum decided to give Tom Ball the prize during the fifth round of auditions. On the most recent episode of the program, Ball was indeed the sixth performer of the evening to perform on stage, following performers Peter Rosalita, Axel Blake, Mandy Harvey, Yumbo Dump, and Mervant Vera, a rapping magician.
Tom Ball, a singer, finished third in Britain’s Got Talent’s 15th season. Just at the time of his audition, he was 23 years old and employed as a teacher. Tom Jones’ song “I (Who Have Nothing)” was sung by Ball in the championship. Simon added, “I can see your lane… West End, leading part,” to Amanda’s description of the performance, calling it “a fantastic, unforgettable performance.” In the public vote, Ball came in third place, trailing only comedian Axel Blake & ventriloquist Jamie Leahey. Ball participated in “America’s Got Talent: All Stars” in 2023, where he won the group Golden Buzzer and advanced to the Final.
In this season finale of the preliminary stage, judges Terry Crews, Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell, and Howie Mandel teamed up to award the unique Group Golden Buzzer to only one act they all believed was most deserving of a place in The Finals. Tom Ball was the unanimous choice after a performance of “The Sound of Silence” that Simon dubbed his best singing voice of the series. The video above lets you watch the entire performance.
