AGT All Stars Finalists – Avery Dixon

On January 16th, NBC broadcast the third episode of America’s Got Talent: All-Stars,” which included 10 returning artists competing for a spot in the Finals. Avery Dixon, a saxophonist, received the most votes. As a result, Avery will perform in the season finale together with the Light Balance Kids, Bello Sisters, Detroit Youth Choir, Aidan Bryant, and Mike E. Winfield among other yet-to-be-announced performers.

The previous AGT season for Avery Dixon

Avery Dixon, a saxophonist who graduated from Boston’s Berklee College of Music and got a Golden Buzzer from judges during America Got Talent Season 17, gained worldwide prominence. Avery’s appearance on television on May 31, 2022, made him famous as a saxophonist. In Episode 1701, Avery Dixon played “Try a Little Gentleness” by Otis Redding on the saxophone as part of her audition. Simon Cowell cast the first “yes” vote. Terry Crews, who was deeply moved by Avery’s performance, hit the golden buzzer, advancing him through to the semifinals. In Episode 1711, Avery Dixon gained enough votes to beat Stefanny and Yeeremy for a spot in the Top 5, and she also beat out Players Choir and Amoukanama for a spot in the Top 3. Instead of Don McMillan, he and Drake Milligan made it to the Finals.

 

Avery Dixon and Trombone Shorty performed Stevie Wonder’s “Higher Ground” again for the show’s finale. She was eliminated from the competition because he did not collect enough votes to be in the Top 5. He came in sixth place among the top 11. In America’s Got Talent: All-Stars, he made a comeback.

Heidi Klum was required to “stand and dance” while Avery played the saxophone. All three judges as well as the live audience praised Avery’s performance. The judges unanimously voiced their comments and praised the young saxophone for his talent after Avery’s performance.

The judges’ opinions of Avery Dixon’s performance were as follows:

 Simon Cowell said he almost hit his Golden Buzzer due to her performance. This is why the show is called All-Stars, according to Simon, “because I think that when you’re good, rivalry like this encourages the best in people.” Without any hesitation or second thoughts, this was you at your best. Simon continued by saying that Avery stood an excellent chance of taking home the grand prize and that he set the bar extremely high for the remaining competitors.

After Simon Cowell used his Golden Buzzer to send comedian Mike Winfield through to the finale, he will still compete in the competition.
