It was excellent news for young ventriloquist Ana-Maria Margean when the super fan voters decided who they wanted to see in the finale during Week 5 of “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars.”
Ana-Maria Mărgean, a ventriloquist, previously participated in season 11 of Romania’s Got Talent & won the competition in 2021. Although she was just 11 when she won the competition, she has other talents besides ventriloquism.
Margean was only five years old when she first fell in love with singing. She was a member of her school’s musical theatre group and has since joined Bucharest’s Ion Dacian Operetta and Musical Theatre. She claims that she aspires to be a “full artist one day,” and with each new song and achievement, Margean moves a step closer to realizing this goal. Margean also revealed in November of last year that she would be appearing on the varied cast of the ‘AGT: All-Stars spin-off series of ‘America’s Got Talent. Margean is imitating her idol by participating in the competition.
Margean has Waldo, a puppet version of her rescue dog, ready for the ‘AGT: All-Stars auditions. She introduced herself in a sneak peek and astounded the judges with her performance. Waldo, Ana-charming Maria’s dog puppet, accompanied her for her All-Stars performance. They performed Lesley Gore’s “You Don’t Own Me” in a powerful duet. Ana-Maria demonstrated her talent for ventriloquism. She comes out as rather polished and professional for a youngster. Her natural vocal performance is excellent, and the comedic portion of her show is strong. It gets better since she can sing with a puppet as well! We don’t want to underestimate how difficult it is to accomplish something just because we’ve already witnessed a few people succeed.
